What is the maximize image size you can print?
On our lithographic presses, the maximum image size we can print is 13.375” x 19.75”. On our digital press, the maximum image size we can print is 12.48" x 17.7".
What is the maximum sheet size you can run?
On our lithographic presses, the maximum sheet size we can run is 14” x 20”.
On our digital press, the maximum sheet size we can run is 13" x 19".
What are the minimum and maximum sheet thicknesses you can print?
We can print on sheets the thickness of tissue paper, all the way up to 16pt card.
What kinds of recycled paper stock can you print on?
We can print on any kind of recycled paper stock, including FSC-certified mixed, pure and recycled products.
Can you print using soy-based inks?
Yes.
Are you FSC-certified?
We are currently going through the FSC certification process and expect to receive FSC chain-of-custody certification later this year.
Do you do letterpress printing?
Yes, we have a Heidelberg platen letterpress.
Can you print variable data?
Yes, we can print variable data on our HP Indigo digital press.
Can you make books?
Yes, we can make saddle-stitched books, as well as hard cover books (also known as hardback or casebound books) and soft cover books with perfect binding or wire-o binding.
Can you do die-cutting and other bindery/finishing?
Yes, we can do die-cutting, perforating, scoring, folding, drilling and padding all
in-house.
What color management system do you use?
For color management on our lithographic presses, we use Heidelberg’s PrintOpen software from the Heidelberg Prinect Profile Toolbox. For color management on our digital press, we use HP's Professional PANTONE Emulation Technology. Our ICC color profiles are available on the Resources page of this Web site.

Do you do any pro bono work?
We are proud to support several local youth-related causes through
gratis work, in-kind donations and sponsorships. In the recent past,
we have supported the San Carlos Educational Foundation, the American
Youth Soccer Organization, and the Exploratorium.
